About Colombian Gold Feminised
Crack a properly cured jar of Colombian Gold and caryophyllene arrives first β that is the compound doing most of the aromatic work here, carried by limonene and rounded off with myrcene. Terpene expression is not fixed at the genetic level; it is something you either preserve or destroy in the last fortnight and the dry. This page is about keeping it.
Protecting the Caryophyllene in Colombian Gold
Terpenes are volatile. That single fact explains almost every flavour disappointment growers report.
Late flower. Heat drives off the lighter aromatic compounds, so the last fortnight wants cooler nights rather than a push for size. Growers chasing the final few grams routinely trade away the thing that made the strain worth growing.
The dry. This is where most of the loss happens. Slow and cool, over a couple of weeks, in the dark, with air moving but never blowing on the flower. Fast drying strips caryophyllene first, and it does not come back.
The cure. Sealed glass, opened daily at first, held somewhere stable. Limonene and Myrcene tend to surface over the following month as the harsher volatiles clear.

Reading the Effects Honestly
Effect descriptions are the least reliable part of any seed listing, this one included. What is defensible: this is a 40/60 hybrid at 17% THC, commonly described as creative, energetic, uplifted, with caryophyllene leading the terpene profile.
What is not defensible is any promise about how it will feel for you. Dose, tolerance, setting and the phenotype you happen to pop all move the outcome more than the strain name does.

This trio is a common signature in well-regarded cultivars, which is not an accident: caryophyllene carries weight, limonene adds definition, myrcene keeps it from being one-note. It reads clearly on a first opening rather than needing to be hunted for.

Where Colombian Gold Feminised Comes From
Documented parentage is Colombian Landrace (Santa Marta). Where a cultivar's origin is recorded we name it on this page; where it is contested or simply unknown, the field stays empty rather than being filled with something plausible.
We did not originate the cultivars in this catalogue and do not claim to have. What we do is select and stabilise the lines we sell, so that a pack grows out more uniformly than an unworked one β which matters more in New Zealand than in most places, because an outdoor grower here is working to a frost date rather than an open-ended season.
