Every line on this page has been carried through at least three filial generations of phenotype-driven selection β F3, F4, F5, IBL, or BX β with twelve mother plants per cycle. Lines are screened against the realities New Zealand growers face: a long season in Northland and the Bay of Plenty, an early frost through Canterbury, Otago and Southland, and an autumn that arrives wet rather than dry. What you grow expresses the genetics you bought.
