About Pre-98 Bubba Kush Feminised
Days 1 to 14. Pre-98 Bubba Kush cracks on damp paper towel inside about two days and is through the medium by day three, given warmth and patience rather than intervention. Seedlings want humidity near 70% and no nutrients at all β the seed carries everything for the first week. By the end of the fortnight you are looking for even node spacing rather than height; a stretched seedling is a light problem, not a vigour signal. New to this? Pre-98 Bubba Kush Through the Grow
Weeks 3 to 6. Growth stops being tentative. This is when training earns its keep: bend rather than cut if you are unsure, because a bent branch recovers in a day and a topped one costs a week. Expect width rather than height, and space plants accordingly.
The transition. After the flip the plant may double. Whatever shape the canopy is at that point is roughly the shape you harvest.
Mid-flower. Bud sites fill and the aroma arrives β usually the point where extraction stops being optional. Feed heavier now, but watch the leaf rather than the schedule.
The last fortnight. Ease off nitrogen, drop the night temperature a little, and stop feeding before you think you should. Final height for this cultivar is published at Medium.
Harvest. Published window: 60-65 days. Trichomes decide. Cut in sections if ripening is uneven β most plants ripen top-down and there is no prize for taking it all at once.
Reading the Effects Honestly
Effect descriptions are the least reliable part of any seed listing, this one included. What is defensible: this is a 80/20 indica at 20% THC, commonly described as happy, relaxed, sleepy, with linalool leading the terpene profile.
What is not defensible is any promise about how it will feel for you. Dose, tolerance, setting and the phenotype you happen to pop all move the outcome more than the strain name does.
Growing a few and selecting the keeper is the only way to know. That is what a pack of feminised seeds is for.
The Terpenes
Linalool leads, myrcene sits behind it, and caryophyllene runs underneath.
Temperature changes what you get. Vaporised low, around 180 to 188 degrees, myrcene and caryophyllene come through cleanly while linalool stays in the background. Combusted, linalool dominates and the finer detail is largely lost. Same flower, two different experiences.
Who It Suits
Pre-98 Bubba Kush is rated easy. That makes it a reasonable first grow β it survives inconsistent watering and imprecise feeding without collapsing, which is what a first season mostly consists of. Being a photoperiod means you decide when it flowers, and therefore how big it gets.
