Pineapple is bought for what comes off it, and the sourced figures are up to 300 g/m2 under lights and up to 450 g/plant from a plant grown out. Those are ceilings, not promises — pot volume, light intensity and how honestly you feed decide where you land inside them. Getting the Weight Out of Pineapple
What the sourced data gives for this cultivar: up to 300 g/m2 under lights, up to 450 g/plant from a plant grown outside. Reaching either is an environment problem before it is a genetics one.
Root volume sets the ceiling before a single flower forms. Under-pot a plant and no feeding schedule rescues it. Get the container right early and the plant does the rest.
Light is the second lever, and the one most growers get wrong in both directions — too little through veg, too much in late flower where it bleaches rather than builds. Steady beats aggressive.

Reading the Effects Honestly
Effect descriptions are the least reliable part of any seed listing, this one included. What is defensible: this is a 50/50 hybrid at 20% THC, commonly described as happy, relaxed, uplifted, with myrcene leading the terpene profile.
What is not defensible is any promise about how it will feel for you. Dose, tolerance, setting and the phenotype you happen to pop all move the outcome more than the strain name does.
Growing a few and selecting the keeper is the only way to know. That is what a pack of feminised seeds is for.
The Terpenes
Myrcene leads, limonene sits behind it, and pinene runs underneath.
Temperature changes what you get. Vaporised low, around 180 to 188 degrees, limonene and pinene come through cleanly while myrcene stays in the background. Combusted, myrcene dominates and the finer detail is largely lost. Same flower, two different experiences.
Who It Suits
Pineapple is rated easy. That makes it a reasonable first grow — it survives inconsistent watering and imprecise feeding without collapsing, which is what a first season mostly consists of. Being a photoperiod means you decide when it flowers, and therefore how big it gets.

Documented parentage is Ed Rosenthal's Super Bud. Where a cultivar's origin is recorded we name it on this page; where it is contested or simply unknown, the field stays empty rather than being filled with something plausible.
We did not originate the cultivars in this catalogue and do not claim to have. What we do is select and stabilise the lines we sell, so that a pack grows out more uniformly than an unworked one — which matters more in New Zealand than in most places, because an outdoor grower here is working to a frost date rather than an open-ended season.
